Abstract:Working in teams can be considered a standard within New Product Development (NPD) and R&D. In most cases employees will be involved in multiple teams simultaneously. The involvement of employees in multiple teams is called multiple team membership (MTM) and more research needs to be done on this concept due to its growing importance. The aim of this research is to add to the fast growing body of literature on MTM. This research focused on the relation between MTM and performance on the individual level.
