Abstract: | The project goal was to develop a marketing campaign video for a breathing wearable called 'Airleviate' which would target the baby boomer population. After discussions with clients and supervisors, it was decided that an awareness campaign video would be the best choice. Hence a question and answer style campaign video was filmed and edited. Results showed that most of the participants thought about their health after watching the video and that they were more likely to watch this type of campaign, compared to one which tries to sell a product or service. Results also showed that some elements of the video could not be identified and that the video was unlikely to be shared by the evaluation participants. For future research, the complete marketing campaign should be realised, which would have a functional website, a device logo and would implement cause related marketing. Research should also be conducted to understand factors which influence people's willingness to share digital material online in order to optimise the spread of the marketing campaign. |
