Abstract: | The study is performed for the outpatient clinic of the Sint Maartenskliniek. The blueprint schedule dictates the consultation type that can be scheduled at a certain time. An MILP model optimises the sequence and starting time of consultations to match expected minutes of workload at downstream departments with the desired amount. The model allows management of patient flows and improves coordination between the outpatient clinic and downstream departments. |
