Abstract: | Motion data has long been available in smartphones, it is a staple of many games and it is still gaining traction through Augmented Reality web apps. The use of these motion sensors is, however, not without risk. This research examined if it is possible to extract motion data from web apps in a way that might violate users privacy. Different browsers were tested with regards to their security imple- mentations for these sensors. |
