Abstract:
This study examines the moderating effect of corporate governance represented by board size and ownership concentration on the relationship between capital structure and firm performance by analyzing a sample of 133 Dutch listed non-financial firms. the results provided weak evidence about the effect of capital structure on firm performance. Moreover, the moderating effect of corporate governance was found insignificant.
