Abstract: | This study focuses on the attributes which can influence the extrinsic motivation of customers to leave feedback on online platform. The attributes of the online platform, the provider, the customer and the transaction can influence the extrinsic motivation. To explain the different attributes in relation with the extrinsic motivation, the self-determination theory is used. This theory emphasizes on the level of autonomy, rather than the amount of motivation. It is to be said that a combination of certain attributes (configuration) has a stronger influence on the customer to leave feedback on the online platform, than a stand-alone attribute. |
