Abstract: | The hospital struggles with capacity problems at the wards. An adjusted way of planning elective admissions is researched. We made a categorisation of admissions based on their length of stay. This categorisation was necessary to create rules of thumb for admission planners. With these rules of thumb, the admission planners are able to generate a pattern of admissions that benefits the wards. |
