Abstract: | The purpose of this study is to explore whether the aspects of gamification “ Freedom and Rewards” have a positive effect on learning. A serious game is designed to explore these aspects of gamification and their influence on user's motivation. There are 3 conditions: freedom, rewards, freedom and rewards. A pre post test design showed that freedom promotes the user's motivation to play the game, however no significant differences was found that rewards in serious gaming promotes the user's motivation to play the game. |
