Abstract: | In 2018, COMPANY 1 introduced The Life Cycle and Support (LCS) department. Their main goals: executing repairs and sustaining of the devices in order to relieve design engineers. During the development of the LCS department, the service offering is often overlooked. This means that opportunities for interesting service contracts are overlooked. This caused the need for this research and led to the following research goal: Design a generic configurable service model, configuration and approach applicable to the series produced medical products COMPANY 1 develops for their customers including guidelines for its implementation and use. |
