Abstract:This thesis addresses the challenges faced by Rymoplast in supply chain scheduling in the recycling industry. The aim is to propose a more transparent and efficient method that considers the constraints on production, variability in supply and demand, and competing commercial interests towards customers and suppliers. The study develops a versatile and adaptable model that combines a supply chain scheduling problem with a blending problem, accommodating different configurations, economic situations, and input data. The model adheres to all set constraints and provides valuable insight into the impact of different policies and economic situations on the supply chain. Overall, the thesis offers a transparent and effective method for enhancing the efficiency of the supply chain scheduling process in the recycling industry.
