Abstract:This report describes the work that I’ve done during my six-months internship in Saint-Gobain Recherche. During my internship, I mainly work on two projects which are MC DigitalLab and IAE web application. MC DigitalLab is a digital application of Domolab, which is an innovation center designed to demonstrate technologies and products of my hosting enterprise. This project is based on a 3D reconstruction of Domolab in Unity3D. There are several scenarios of MC DigitalLab which enable the user to have a virtual visit of Domolab and experience different the benefits of different products using computer or virtual reality headset. I will discuss the design decision of different scenarios and the reason behind the decision. Then, I discuss the detail of how those scenarios are implemented in Unity3D. The other project is an immersive acoustic experience project which aims to help our client, Ecophon, better demonstrate their products with acoustic benefits to their customers. The project is also based on a virtual reality visit to a pre-build virtual environment. My work is to build a web application that could be used to change the configurations of virtual environment displayed on the VR headset via internet. I will present the process of development of this web application using Construct2. Though these are two different projects, but the web application is also another way of interaction for virtual reality visit, it has the possibility to be implemented into MC DigitalLab in future work.
