Abstract:It appears that practice and literature do not know how the transformation from a product- oriented business model to a service-oriented business model can be made and that it is still unclear which factors influence servitization positively or negatively. This research will explore the configurations of inhibiting and stimulating factors in servitization in the construction industry. Besides, the configurations will be identified, and therefore providing a more detailed insight into the common causes between the different cases in this study.
