Abstract: | Fault trees are a popular tool to visualize the risk of models in many technical fields. However, non-experts often feel fault trees are confusing, overwhelming, and difficult-to-understand. This study aims to find out the root of the problem of why fault trees are not easy-to-understand for non-experts and to build up an interactive prototype to solve this problem. The scope of this study narrows down to the qualitative information of fault trees. |
