| Abstract: | Advisors at Geas visit customers at home to give advice and make a quotation on heating systems and warm water objects. The appointments of the advisors are scheduled using Visitour, a scheduling software that is connected to the ERP-system Navision. The functionalities, such as automatic scheduling, that are offered by Visitour are not used and adivsors are scheduled manually. Because of this, the process is not efficient. The workflow does not always work and it takes a lot of time to schedule an appointment. The goal of this research is to find a way on how to improve the scheduling process within Visitour or by using another provider of a scheduling software. |
