| Abstract: | The purpose of this thesis is to standardise the flow re-engineering process of Company X. The flow re-engineering process is a continuous process to improve the transport between suppliers and production units by changing the way of transport or the amount of pick up days. The challenge of this process is that all engineers currently use different approaches which leads to miscommunication and lost optimization potential. Through various research a standard approach for the process has been created in the form of a flow chart, tool and documentation standard. |
