Abstract: | Organizations are increasingly developing strategies that facilitate the recruitment and retainment of employees as it is of great importance for their success and survival. One of these strategic methods is employee referral hiring which has been a topic of interest in many different disciplines showing promising results. Although employee referral hiring has an intuitive character that implicitly suggests an important role for referrers, research has paid little attention to this group. Therefore, this study provides insights into how each different phase of an employee referral is experienced by the referrer. |
