Abstract: | Noble House is an automotive company that repairs, restores and even rebuilds mainly classic, hand-build, Aston Martins. As parts become harder to come by, in-house production of these parts becomes more appealing. This report focuses on the design of a body buck to recreate the body of an Aston Martin DBS. To achieve this, the physical car is translated to CAD-Data via 3D-scanning. Once a surface model of the car is made, concepts for the body buck's production are discussed with manufacturers. Resulting in two final concepts for Noble House to choose from, for when production is initiated. |
