Abstract: | The consensus in literature is that data-driven is changing the decision-making process in a positive way. However, businesses often do not know where to start when introducing this new concept. This paper solves that problem by creating a simple, yet effective measurement instrument that not only identifies your current data-driven decision-making maturity level but also provides guidelines on how to improve. Furthermore, it stimulates continuous improvement to break down unattainable goals into small, manageable steps. A case study was performed to validate the model in practice. The results show positive signs that the model is working according to its purpose. However, to prove validity, more research is needed. |
