Abstract:This study aimed to research the relationship between corporate values and corporate scandals. I consciously chose to investigate the corporate values of the largest companies in the automotive industry, because this industry has come under close scrutiny since the emission scandal in 2015, whereby the social responsibility of the whole industry is questioned. I found it important to look at the possible changes in corporate values and CEOs and the corporate scandals, 3 years before and after the diesel gate, to study the possible impact.
