Developing a new storage allocation method for Company X’s order picking warehouse

Company X is facing problems with orders being shipped late. The aim of this research is to create a new way of assigning products to storage locations by analyzing the structure of large orders coming in and thereby increase the overall efficiency by minimizing the travel distance of the order pickers.
