Abstract: | This research focuses on tactical planning for facilitating patient self-scheduling in the Medisch Spectrum Twente. We use discrete event simulation to evaluate different experiments. Using our newly developed approach, we are able to significantly improve the minimum service level compared to the baseline and standard model. We conclude that our adaptive model with SlotReservation, SlotSharing and DynamicBlueprint is most efficient for facilitating patient self-scheduling. |
