Improving the production planning of a producer of plastic packaging

The company lacks insight in their production planning. Due to seasonal demand, capacity is exceeded in some months. This means that products have to be produced earlier, but the company does not know which products to produce and how much to produce earlier. By using a mathematical model, the optimal production amounts have been determined. The results are presented in a dashboard. The dashboard gives the company the insights which they were looking for.
