Abstract: | The fourth industrial revolution revolves around the use of self-regulating systems across industry and society. These systems exist simultaneously in the physical world, known to us, and the digital world. Together with other developments that are tied to the fourth industrial revolution, that introduces new considerations for the field of industrial design. D'Andrea & Evers Design is a design agency in Enschede and they are curious to learn what the fourth industrial revolution will bring. This project investigates the structures and developments of the previous three industrial revolutions to learn about the fourth. |
