| Abstract: | This thesis aims to solve inefficiency in a data import process. In the insurance branch the amount of data communicated between parties is huge. Therefore, it is extremely important to efficiently import and manage this data in the ERP systems. Currently there are problems with efficiency at an insurance broker. To combat these problems three action plans are set up which reduce the time spent in processes involving data importing and managing. Recommendations vary from short-term quick and dirty improvements in the current ERP system, to long-term improvements through relationships, and lastly to chain improvements through collaboration with the branch organizations and insurance companies. |
