Abstract: | The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted people’s ability to connect and interact and having a sense of togetherness has been hampered. Interactive installations have the potential to improve people’s sense of togetherness by facilitating connection and communication between participants. In this project, how a design for an interactive installation can be set up for creating a sense of togetherness between participants was researched in order to come up with an effective intervention.As the methodology, Creative Technology Design Process was utilised in order to reach a product prototype that can be evaluated based on the requirements of this project. Through this process, new knowledge and insights were gained on the subject. The installation facilitates a common experience that fosters a sense of togetherness through provoking camaraderie and connection to form between participants with the aim of being a successful output. |
