Abstract:
The survival rate of cancer is increasing and nowadays it is often treated as chronic illness, since survivors complain about a vary of symptoms after the treatment. A multidisciplinary approach is recommended by guidelines and experts, in order to enhance the variety of complaints cancer survivors experience. The aim of this thesis was to provide an overview of the current knowledge regarding multidisciplinary treatment for cancer rehabilitation and to investigate the effectiveness of different intervention options on Quality of Life (QOL) and Cancer related Fatigue in cancer survivors.
