Abstract:This report describes the design and creation of a parallel manipulator for the task of launching a ping pong ball, designing the PM and setting up simplified equations. The physical version is compared to a model, to find components that should have been modelled to understand the launch better, the operating limits are discussed, and some optimisation is discussed.
