Author(s): Konutgan, S. (2022)

Abstract:
Gender differences appear to be a problem in different areas of life. Although the number of women in entrepreneurial positions increased over drastically over the past years, the relationship between men and women working entrepreneur positions is 2:1 (De Bruin, Brush, & Welter, 2006). This report focuses on gender differences in entrepreneurial intentions and possible variables influencing an individual’s decision to realize them. The research question is stated as follow: “Do psychological factors and factors such as the perception of masculinity and cultural norms influence entrepreneurial intentions and do they differ between genders?”
