Abstract: | This paper investigates the resilience of beverage collectives in the wake of Covid-19 crisis in Germany by applying an explorative qualitative method. The resilience factors democratic governance and embeddedness are examined. Three additional resilience factors are identified in the course of this paper. The results are interpreted and incorporated into a comprehensive resilience framework. In this way, resilience factors are revealed to increase or decrease in relevance, depending on the severity of the crisis. Thereby, a first contribution is made to link resilience system models and business resilience research. This paper unites resilience research from different disciplines. The findings on resilience of collectives and the emerging resilience factors engagement, labor flexibility and self-reflection provide a deeper understanding of the field. Scientists and policy makers gain important impulses to consider resilient entrepreneurship in times of intensifying crises. |
