| Abstract: | Beerwulf, a leader in the beer e-commerce sector, is interested in exploring alternatives to the current delivery scheme represented by standard home delivery (SHD), a service that delivers to the customers in 1-4 days depending on the customer location. The focus of this research will be on same-day delivery (SDD), an option that allows the customers to purchase and receive the products within the same day. The goal of this thesis, hence, is to develop a model representative of the coexistence of the two delivery modes and assess under three dimensions, service level, sustainability, and costs, the added value to the business for extending its home-delivery scheme. |
