Reducing the number of failures during piston ring production

Rottink currently experiences a lot of failures happening within their production. They currently also do not have a clear and structured way of performing quality checks within their production. This thesis researches a more effective way of handling failures by way of a simulation study. The simulation tests different quality check policies.
