Abstract:Actemium Zevenaar wants to evolve the Warehouse Management System by adding assistance with regard to capacity management in the warehouse. To achieve this, the time-consuming operations in the warehouse are identified. The processing times are monitored and the occurrences are forecasted to estimate the total workload. The research explores different ways of grouping data before forecasting operations. This is done since singular operation data varies too much and therefore this form of input is not fit to forecast. The different ways of grouping are evaluated and recommendations are given to the company.
