Getting insight into the value of Port of Twente for the region of Twente

This research is conducted at Port of Twente, located in Almelo. Port of Twente is an organisation that defines itself as ‘the logistical cluster of Twente’. They work with companies, government institutions and educational and research institutions to increase the logistical power of Twente. The Logistics Association department of Port of Twente wants to know what their impact is for the region of Twente so that they can improve their impact on their members and the rest of Twente. This thesis has selected different KPIs that can be used to determine the value of Port of Twente. In addition to this, a dashboard has been created that gives insight into the economic situation in Twente and how it has changed since the start of the organisation.
