Abstract:Catch 22 is a consulting firm that specializes in providing guidance on maintenance processes for other companies. The goal is to create an optimal maintenance process for medium-sized companies, following the EN-17007 European standard. The research thoroughly reviews the standard and identifies the processes it outlines. The standard focuses on the management of the company's board and includes processes for corrective and preventive maintenance. The processes are adapted to fit the real-world situation with the input of experts and reviewed by maintenance experts from Catch 22. The model is evaluated using maintenance maturity models and tested in a case study at two food production companies that are clients of Catch 22. The maintenance processes presented in this thesis serve as a guide for maintenance consultants and offer insight into what an optimal maintenance process should look like.
