Abstract:One in seven women get breast cancer at some point in their lives. Of the survivors, many suffer from cancer related fatigue (CRF). The aim of this research was to find a way to visualise a holistic patient profile (HPP) for patients who had breast cancer which gives them insight into their CRF. During this research, interviews and user tests were held, to gain insights into the needs and wants of the users. The interview phase showed that graphs are a good way to visualise data and that the type of graph depends on the person and situation. Additionally it highlighted the importance of colour and a simple and easily understandable interface. With the feedback from the interviews an app was created to visualise the CRF data. This prototype was tested and was proven to be very user friendly. This research showed that one successful way of visualising the HPP seems to be via the app created in this research. The tests will need to be repeated with a larger group of participants to see if changes need to be made to the prototype. However, this app is a good first step to visualising CRF.
