Abstract:This research aims to help the Ministry of Defence to shift towards an IT-driven business strategy and improve their office IT landscape by increase the quality of information used in applications. The problem is the lack of management information, information management skills, and a large amount of unstructured information, which results in employees spending too much time searching for information. To address this issue, the organization wants to increase the quality of information used in the office IT landscape by measuring the quality based on actuality, reliability, and compliance. Therefore, this research aims to design a dashboard and data management system to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs). The Design Science Research Process (DSRP) is utilized to design the dashboard and DMS, which allows the identification of goals, requirements, and limitations, as well as guidelines for determining KPIs. The developed dashboard successfully measures the quality of information used in the office IT landscape, and each KPI is based on a set of requirements and guidelines. The dashboard and DMS offer a framework for the organisation to increase information management skills, leading to better work efficiency and reducing the average time spent searching for information.
