| Abstract: | This report explains the research conducted at Techspread, which is a data consultancy firm located in Enschede. It is a start-up which was founded in 2021. They believe many organisations have room for improvement when it comes to using their own data. Therefore, they help other companies in becoming “data-driven”. The goal is to make changes in their data strategy, which will result in more efficiency. They achieve maximal efficiency by developing data models which can provide data insights. These insights can be used to arrange the working processes of that organisation effectively. Currently, Techspread cannot validate the outcomes of the changes which they suggest implementing in the data strategy of their customers. Therefore, it is difficult for Techspread to show their customers the result of their service. Next to that, it is difficult to show what progress has been made during the implementation phase. This problem results in the following question: "How can we develop a tool that can validate the outcomes of changes in an organisation's data strategy and how can the tools use be incorporated in the business process?" |
