Abstract: | As a new age emerges where data is the new gold, research into data usage possibilities is observed closely. Wholesale banking steers based on Net Interest Income and a need to obtain insights in their earnings is critical. Being able to unravel similarities and discrepancies between regions or sectors on the earned Net Interest Income enables one to observe macro-economic trend changes. Determining the correlation between Net Interest Income and other financial key performance indicators may achieve the intended result. For this purpose, Rabobank has provided data information on their perceived Net Interest Income. A modified Multiple Linear Regression model is applied on the provided data which found correlations between financial indicators. These provide food for fought on macro-economic financial observations. |
