Abstract:This thesis examines the pros and cons of affiliate marketing for content creators using platforms and provides strategies to navigate challenges and maximize benefits. Five advantages and disadvantages were identified. Advantages of affiliate marketing for content creators include extra income, easy entry, low investment, provided resources, and flexible work arrangements. However, disadvantages include dependence on platforms, trustworthiness concerns, personal responsibility, competition, and unpredictable income. To optimize platform use, building consumer trust is crucial for a loyal following, increased income, and predictable earnings. Choosing the right platform is also important, considering free membership, suitable networks, and helpful resources. Key strategies involve follower engagement and selecting a suitable platform to overcome disadvantages and maximize profits. However, it's important to note that some pitfalls may be unresolved.
