Spatial audio augmented reality for positioning and navigation with Airpods

This research project aims to create a spatial audio system with the purpose of improving traffic safety for bikers who listen to music. After an extensive research, an idea was developed and criteria were set. A prototype was developed and evaluated with participants. Although the prototype is able to create spatial audio, it does not meet all of the criteria. However, future research can attempt to make the prototype more accurate. This research has opened a door for more spatial audio research in the future.
