Abstract: | In this thesis, five machine learning methods are applied to the Menzis district nursing benchmark. To determine which method is the most suitable, they are assessed on the fit of the model, and the usability of the model. The usability is assessed by taking the opinion of health care purchasers, who are the users of the benchmark model, into account. Other parts of the thesis concern which variables are important predictors of district nursing costs, and how they should be included in a benchmark model. |
