Abstract: | This thesis delves into the challenges encountered by Rombouts Kunststof Techniek (RKT) in terms of communication and structural organization, with the objective of enhancing process efficiency. As a first step, a comprehensive analysis of the existing situation within the company was conducted to pinpoint specific areas of concern. The study identified three core issues that the company is grappling with: poor communication, insufficient structural organization throughout a project's lifecycle, and a lack of digitalization. These problems collectively hinder the efficient execution of projects and overall company productivity. In response to each of these issues, the research offers tailored solutions which RKT could potentially implement to rectify the concerns. This includes the development of a framework designed for the company, recommending the appointment of a designated project owner to ensure accountability and coherence, suggesting strategies for incorporating digitalization across different facets of the business process, and the establishment of regular meetings to improve communication and coordination. Each proposed solution aims to provide a pragmatic and sustainable approach to overcoming the identified challenges, thereby promoting a smoother, more efficient operational process within the company. |
