Abstract: | In this thesis, we propose, develop, and validate an enhanced variant management method at Thales Hengelo to help them deal with the internal complexity of managing product variants during the bidding phase. The proposed method encompassed Trade Space Exploration-Model-Based Systems Engineering (TSE-MBSE) in order to capture and analyze customer requirements in the bidding phase and use them to conduct Trade Space Exploration analysis to help in the creation and selection of variant solutions. The approach was validated through a Coast Guard Case study and feedback from experts at Thales. |
