Abstract: | This thesis investigates how SIVO, a training institute of the Dutch Ministry of Defence Force, can better deal with peak moments and what number of staff and reusable resources (trucks) are needed to do so. To gain insights into this problem, a MILP model has been constructed to analyse the effects of different availabilities of staff and reusable resources on the mean total makespan. |
