Abstract: | The main objective of this research was to develop a uniform process for the implementation of predictive maintenance. This research resulted in a process consisting of ten phases with the focus on static and dynamic asset data to derive maintenance actions. Furthermore, this research resulted in a guideline to ease the implementation of predictive maintenance. Included in the research is a case study that explains how failure mechanisms can be identified and how based on these failure mechanisms data collection methods can be determined. The implementation of predictive maintenance results in necessary adjustments to an organization. In this research is explained how an organization can prepare for the implementation of predictive maintenance. |
