Abstract:The aim of this thesis is to develop and evaluate a framework that can assist the establishment of a suitable ecosystem for the implementation of circular glass packaging within a value chain. Through evaluating existing ecosystems for reusable glass packaging using a multilevel research method, a framework is developed which provides an overview of all entities and responsibilities that enable an ecosystem for reusable glass packaging. Thereafter, the framework is exposed to a case study, hereby generating an ecosystem configuration for introducing reusable glass packaging into the value chain of Brinkers Food. This ecosystem configuration is complimented by a corresponding 5 phase implementation roadmap. Finally, this thesis is concluded with an evaluation of the limitations of the case study, and recommendations for possible improvements of the framework and implementation roadmap, to support further research and increase reliability of the results.
