Abstract: | This thesis explores how Business Process Management (BPM) can be used in order to redesign several processes of the company Reinaerdt, with the goal of improving the delivery reliability. Interviews are held in order to identify the current processes used within the company. The current processes are looked at for any problems that produce waste or inefficiencies, and the causes of those problems are then analysed. The current processes and the redesigned processes are mapped using the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN). The done research in this thesis includes the creation of an implementation plan, and the identification of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which can be used to monitor the performance of the new processes. |
