Integraal Personeelsbeleid (IPB) op ROC’s : de relatie tussen self-efficacy en locus of control enerzijds en de attitude van medewerkers ten aanzien van IPB anderzijds
Maat, E. van de (2007)
Using data from 30 employees (board members, HR-managers, principals from the units of social welfare and technique and employees from the personnel departments from both units) from Senior Secondary Vocational Education institutions, we examined whether occupational self-efficacy en locus of control on the one hand were positively related to the attitude with regard to Integral Personnel Management (IPM) on the other hand. Simultaneously, the effect of the interaction between both personality constructs and the effect of the environment as a possible moderator were examined. The results show a positive connection between occupational self-efficacy, an internal locus of control en the interaction between both constructs on the one side and the attitude with regard to IPM on the other side. The environment turned out to have a moderating effect: the stronger the normative force of the environment, the weaker the connection between occupational self-efficacy and internal locus of control on the one hand and the attitude with regard to IPM on the other hand.
