Kwalitatief onderzoek naar resilience binnen hulpverleners en modules van Tactus Verslavingszorg : definities, elementen, opvattingen en uitbreidingen
Dijk, M. van (2008)
From the years 90 onwards, academics discovered that the psychosocial functioning of children of alcoholics (COA’s) was comparable with the functioning of children in control groups (Walker & Lee, 1998). Bonanno (2005) defined this positive functioning as ‘resilience’. This means ‘a positive adaptation, despite adversity or negative experiences’ (Luthar, Cicchetti & Becker, 2000; Kraemer Tebes, Kaufman, Adnopoz & Racusin, 2001; Carle & Chassin, 2004; Knuttsun-Medin, Edlund & Ramklint, 2007). Tactus Verslavingszorg (Tactus Addiction Treatment) is an institute which helps clients with addiction problems. The started up an Projectgroup Resilience, which wants to make clear on which way the modules and the social workers of Tactus make use of elements which promote resilience. Beside that, they are interested in the possibilities of expansion of these elements and the opinions of social workers about this. To answer these objectives, the following research question is formulated: “To what extent are social workers and modules of Tactus directed towards the promotion of resilience? “
