Abstract:The consumer electronics market, more specific to IT & telecommunication and consumer equipment products, is changing in Europe. Consumers become more powerful, shortening product development cycles, supply and demand market become more global and increased use of outsourcing and off shoring of production activities. All trends have a direct impact on the movement of goods throughout the supply chain, and particularly on reverse flows. The existence of these flows generates the need for strategic decisions in the management of the supply chain. Further research directed at analysing the strategic aspects of reverse flows is needed.
